The Baird Lawen Dentistry team is committed to caring for their patients as they would their friends and families. The entire team works hard to provide current and comprehensive dental care in a professional, yet warm environment. The staff at Baird Lawen Dentistry performs their roles with the belief that knowledge, compassion, and excellence are essential in treating their patients.
Dr. Baird opened his dental practice in 1975, and although the location has remained the same, additional dentists have joined the practice, with the most recent being Dr. Lawen. The dental office was completely remodeled in 2005, and now it is equipped with flat screen televisions and comfortable dental chairs in order to make patients’ visits more pleasant. The practice is currently using digital x-rays, CEREC (a system that makes possible the fabrication of dental restorations in one appointment), BrightSmile professional teeth whitening, Invisalign orthodontics, soft tissue lasers, rotary endodontics, electric handpieces, intraoral cameras and Vita Lumin shade guide (digital colour matching of restorative dental work). Baird Lawen Dentistry specializes in cosmetic dentistry and implant dentistry.
Baird Lawen Dentistry is conveniently located on Spring Garden Road in the Halifax Professional Centre, which is wheelchair accessible and has ample onsite parking. There are also bilingual staff members who are happy to assist French-speaking clients.
