Becoming a dentist was the fulfillment of a lifelong dream for Dr. Baird. His compassion for people and his desire to care for them led him to dentistry where he has the ability to make people feel better about themselves by creating better and healthier smiles. Dr. T. Daniel Lawen
Thanks to some influential people close to him, Dr. Lawen has perused dentistry at a young age. Dr. Lawen excelled in his education; he received a Bachelor of Science (BSc) from Dalhousie University graduating with distinction. He then went on to complete his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) also at Dalhousie where he graduated fourth in his class. At Dalhousie, Dr. Lawen partook in the dental implant elective and was awarded the Periodontology and the Dental Biomaterials prizes. He is a member of the Canadian Dental Association (CDA), the Nova Scotia Dental Association (NSDA) and the Academy of General Dentists (AGD).

Dr. Christo Migas
Dr. Migas practices general dentistry and has informal training in oral medicine. He is compassionate and enjoys interacting with both patients and staff members. His perfectionism enables him to provide optimal dental care.

Dental Hygienists
The dental hygienists working at Baird Lawen Dentistry are highly qualified and each has numerous years of experience in the dental industry. The hygienists make it a priority to remain up-to-date with new dental procedures in order to ensure that their patients receive excellent care. They are committed to promoting good oral health as well as establishing, with their patients, oral hygiene maintenance routines.
The highly skilled dental hygienist team includes: Heidi MacDonald, Sylvia VanGogh, Melanie Cameron-Luzeux, Pauline Peters, Lori Simpson and Cristiana Burns-MacGregor.
Dental Assistants
The dental assistants working alongside the dentists at Baird Lawen Dentistry prepare patients for treatments and ensure their comfort. They also educate patients in good oral hygiene and are happy to answer questions regarding procedures. The dental assistants are also responsible for sterilizing all instruments and equipment as well as obtaining accurate patient dental histories. Heather Douglas, Anna MacKay, Melanie Hill, and Amanda Connors make up the experienced dental assistant team at Baird Lawen Dentistry.
Office Staff
Baird Lawen Dentistry believe it is important for patients to feel comfortable during their visits, and for this reason, the office staff work to create a welcoming and pleasant atmosphere within the dental practice. The office staff will process patients' insurance claims and are happy to address any financial questions or concerns patients may have.
